1. Start of service
The employee must be present 10 minutes in advance and be ready at the workplace when the shift starts.
If the shift starts too late, an extra 15 minutes will be deducted from the working time, other measures will be taken in the event of frequent violations.
2. Grooming
Every employee must have a well-groomed appearance (shaved, clean and not too conspicuous shoes, no flashy jewelry, well-groomed nails, and hair must be worn tight), in accordance with the style of the business.
The work clothing must be washed clean, ironed and worn by the employee. Employees must follow the regulations and instructions of their managers with regard to clothing and grooming.
3. Knowledge of the menu
Every employee knows the contents of the drink and food menu and is aware of any changes.
4. Responsibility for the workplace
The employee is responsible for his/her workplace during work and for leaving it clean and tidy when leaving.
5. Dealing with guests
Kindness and courtesy in dealing with guests are expected from every employee.
6. Smoking, chewing, eating and drinking
During work, smoking, chewing, eating, and drinking in sight of the guests is not allowed. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas and with the permission of your superiors.
7. Drink & Drugs
It is strictly forbidden for the employee to be under the influence drugs. The employer applies a “Zero Tolerance ” policy for this.
In the event of drug use and/or intoxication, immediate dismissal will follow. Consuming alcohol during shifts can only take place with the permission and supervision of your superiors. Abuse hereof will end in direct dismissal.
8. Staff meals
If an employee is entitled to a meal, the nature, time, and place of eating the meal will be determined by management.
9. Phone, mobile phone
Making telephone calls for private purposes and using a mobile telephone and/or landline telephone during work is not permitted. Upon detection, the phone will be confiscated and placed in the safe for safekeeping, after your shift it will be returned.
10. Giving away drinks
The employee is expressly not permitted to give away refreshments without the permission of the employer and/or managers. If found in offense, direct dismissal will follow.
11. Visit from third parties
Within the company, permission from supervisors is required for any visit to the employee other than for business reasons.
12. Working on Sundays and holidays
The employee agrees to work on King's Night, King's Day, 2 & 3 October, Sundays and public holidays or a part thereof. This work is carried out in accordance with the schedule drawn up by managers.
13. Reporting sick
In the event of illness, the employee must behave in accordance with the sickness regulations.
14. Calamities
In case of calamities such as burglary, threat, accident, fire, etc., the employee must immediately warn the managers.
15. Personal information
Changes in personal data, such as change of address, telephone numbers, tax group or other nature, must be reported immediately to the manager.
16. Social media
Posting on social media, in the broadest sense of the word, must not harm the company in any way. The extent to which a message could be harmful is assessed by the managers and instructions by the managers must be followed immediately at all times.
17. Received tips
The employee declares that the employer does not interfere with any tips received. The distribution key and/or payment of any tips received is also determined in its entirety and arranged by the employees themselves. The employer is not allowed to collect the tips received in the cash register. Tips received are not part of the remuneration of the employee.
